By car
Finnish road network is in very good condition and traffic is moderate. Renting a car would be a great choice to get here. More than 100 kilometers of the highway from Helsinki-Vantaa airport has 120km per hour speed limit during summer season. Most of the rest is 100 km per hour speed limit. In winter time the speed limits vary between 80 and 100 km per hour. You won't be wasting your holiday time being stuck in traffic jam. By bus or train
Renting a car is the fastest and easiest way to reach us. However taking a bus or a train would be a great opportunity to see the Finnish countryside or have a short stay in Helsinki.
From the Airport there is also a bus directly to Mikkeli, approximately every 3 hours. The Bus can be booked online on www.matkahuolto.fi in advance. Besides that you can also take the airport express Bus or Train to Helsinki and take an Onnibus to Mikkeli from there. Our distance to Mikkeli is 50 kilometres (about 30 miles).
